Let’s try ESL game!

This student may ask some question such as, “Who watched TV last night?” “Who played computer last night?” “Who did homework last night?” “Who played basketball last night?”

The students really love to play this game, and it gives students a chance to use past tense, future tense and present tense.

“Who went to bed at ten o’clock last night?” I did!. It is just a fun exercise that will help your students listen more efficiently.

“Who is going to their friend’s house after school?” I am!

What is ESL game? It is said to be one of the best games because it teaches speaking and listening at the same time. Then the teacher will ask the class a question, “Who ate noodles for lunch?” If any of the students ate noodles for lunch they will yell, “I did!” and then sit down. And you can make it more difficult by telling the students to ask present tense questions, past tense questions and future tense questions.

“Who is going to the beach after school?” I am!

“Who is going to department store after school? I am!

This is one of the most fun ESL games that I know. Then the teacher will ask the same question but with a different noun, “Who ate an orange for lunch?” If any of the students ate an orange for lunch they will yell, ” I did.”

“Who is going to the park after school?” I am!

Once all of the students are sitting in the their chairs…ask them to all stand up again. It doesn’t matter if the student sits down first or last. I hope that you can incorporate this into your lesson plans!

There are no winners. Why don’t you try that game?

The student that you select will now ask the class the questions, including the teacher. Now you can ask one of the students to act as the teacher.

“Who went to bed at nine thirty last night?” I did!

“Who went to bed at midnight last night?” I did!

The teacher or the students can ask any type of question, as long as it is appropriate.

First have all of your students stand up

Baccarat Betting Strategy – InfoBarrel

The game is typically associate with high rollers, but online gambling makes winning baccarat something anyone can do if they would like.

If you are not familiar with Punto Banco, it’s easy to understand.

Make the right bets.

Another baccarat betting strategy is avoiding the tie bet. To make the most of your cashroll when playing baccarat, do not make the game into one of thinking. The tie bet has a 14% house advantage, as opposed to the near 1% house advantage of the best bet at the table, Banker. Rather, simply spend as much time at the table as possible, and place bets (always on Banker) with plenty of spacing in between. Spend time conversing with other players and reap in free money from the courteous casino.. Casinos comp players with cold, hard cash, buffet tickets, and free drinks.

As I hope you can see, winning baccarat is not a matter of employing a baccarat betting system. Quite frankly, there is no thought involved in playing baccarat. Sadly, many con men make thousands selling books proclaiming to beat the casinos once and for all. The best of all baccarat systems is nothing more than enlongating the time spent at the table while minimizing the number of bets made. Slap your chips down on Banker every time, hope for the best, but expect to lose.

The game is simple to learn and quite fast-paced. In standard Punto Banco played at ritzy casinos, the shoe of cards is dealt around the table, with each player taking turns functioning as the banker. In an online casino, as well as in many brick-and-mortar casinos, a variation known as mini-baccarat exists, where the dealer always acts as the card-dealing banker.

Will a baccarat betting system work?

People looking for a baccarat betting strategy ought to learn that betting systems do not work, and this rule is the same for a baccarat betting system. Around the globe, the game has different meanings, but for the purposes of this article, the meaning addressed shall be that of Punto Banco baccarat. This ignorant belief is known as gambler’s fallacy, and is often the source of gambling addiction.

Nonetheless, gamblers can make a form of a baccarat betting strategy by extending the time of gameplay in brick-and-mortar casinos. Players make wagers on whether the Player or the Banker hand will be higher. Good luck!

Introduction to a baccarat betting strategy

Gamblers from all over the world have likely heard of the game baccarat, and may wish to learn of a baccarat betting strategy. As with any casino game, you probably won’t get rich, but this is, in all likelihood, the best way to keep your gaming dollar going and have a good time doing it. Many betting systems rely upon the assumption that events can be due and streaks are more likely to be broken the longer they go on

The business are also eyeing growth opportunities in Europe this year as well as potential acquisitions and mergers.

The recycled winnings helped the firm push up fourth-quarter revenues 32 per cent, while the sports betting business gained from a higher number of draws after a historic low at the start of the Engl ish Premier League football season.

Chief executive Jim Ryan said: “With some of the world’s largest gaming sites in poker, casino and bingo, and opportunities to further consolidate the online gaming sector, we are confident about our future prospects.”

The company were reported in December to be in talks over a merger with Austrian rivals Bwin, which would create a pounds 2billion internet gaming giant.

The fou r t h qua r ter i s traditionally better for the online gaming sites owing to poorer weather but the firm added that casino and sports betting revenues had been “particularly strong”.

The PartyPoker owners said all four divisions – poker, casino games, bingo and sports betting – showed growth in the three months to December 31 as revenues jumped by almost a third to pounds 87.2million over a year earlier.

Investec analyst Mat thew Gerard said: “An increasing focus on casino and bingo will drive robust revenue growth.”

ONLINE betting company PartyGaming yesterday said revenues had been boosted by a punter pumping almost half of a pounds 3.1million jackpot win back into their slot machines.

The anonymous player scooped the rollover prize on PartyCasino after an overhaul of jackpot rules was carried out earlier in the year to tempt punters with bigger payouts.. Lawmakers Seek to Tame ‘Wild West’ of Online Gambling

Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., are in a scramble to close them.

It all started two and a half years ago, when the Department of Justice ruled that the Wire Act – which had blocked all online gambling for 50 years – actually only applied to sports betting.

Attorneys general of 15 states – as well as South Carolina Gov. Diane Feinstein, D-Calif., and Sen. “There should not be a single person in the bowels of the Department of Justice reinterpreting law and fundamentally changing the landscape.”

“I would say that Sheldon has aligned himself with most Baptists in South Carolina,” Graham quipped. But not all states are on board; online gambling is an industry that its advocates say can create some major commerce.

Graham also shot down questions about whether the legislation, which is being introduced two and a half years after the change in policy, was prompted by GOP mega donor Sheldon Adelson, whose brick and mortar casino empire in Las Vegas faces competition from the online gambling industry.

“Basically, it’s been the wild West out there on the Internet, which is of deep concern and that creates a huge problem for law enforcement,” Ayotte said.

“If there is a case that people want to make for online gambling, they need to come to the Congress,” Chaffetz said. “This is an issue where there will be business issues on both sides. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, left, and Sen. Jason Chaffetz R-Utha, are going all in to ban online gambling.

The decision opened the floodgates to online gambling, and now, two and a half years after the switch, a bipartisan group of legislators – including Sen. Cowboys’ Super Bowl odds spike

On the next play, Denver defensive back Aqib Talib intercepted Smith and returned it 22 yards for a touchdown to cover the spread.

“We had one of our house players make a decent size bet on the Seahawks minus-9.5,” SuperBook football oddsmaker Ed Salmons. In late January, the SuperBook opened the Cowboys at 30-1 to win it all. “Then, they erupted when the interception occurred.”

Denver Broncos (-9.5) 31, New York Jets 17: Approximately 95 percent of bets on the game were on the Broncos at the SuperBook and Aliante sports book. Books won big on …

That’s changed.

Simbal said the pick-six with 15 seconds left caused a seven-figure swing against his shop.

While the majority of bettors faded the Cowboys, there were still a few wise to the team’s potential. “We had a ton of moneyline action on the Seahawks as well.”

Dallas was a big as a 10-point underdog to the Seahawks at the Wynn and SuperBook on Sunday. The Cowboys destroyed the Saints 38-17 in Week 4.

Bettors didn’t think much about the Dallas Cowboys before the season.

Books lost big on …

After its upset of defending champion Seattle, Dallas is now 12-1 to win the Super Bowl at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. With Denver leading 24-17 with less than a minute to play, things looked extremely bleak for Broncos backers. Only five teams — Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Oakland and Jacksonville — had longer odds to start the season.

This week, though, the early action is on the Cowboys, who opened as 3-point home favorites over the New York Giants, but were laying 5 at most shops as of Monday.

Vegas gamblers also bet heavily against the Cowboys in some of the early point spreads that were released in May by the SuperBook. And the larger bets on the Cowboys’ season win total were on the over, according to SuperBook assistant manager Jeff Sherman.

For the sports books, it’s a great year for a perennial public favorite like the Cowboys to make a run. The SuperBook took 13 more bets on the over on Dallas’ season win total of 8 than it did on the under. It was the biggest upset of the season, point-spread-wise, and handed the sports books one of their biggest wins of the day.

. Only the Seahawks and Green Bay Packers have better odds in the NFC.

“When it looked like they were going to call a safety, you could hear everyone in the sports book grumbling and cursing at the refs,” said Jason Simbal, vice president of race and sports at CG Technology, who works out of the M Resort. By September, after an offseason full of ridicule, Dallas had fallen all the way back to 75-1. Betting was so light on Dallas in the offseason that its odds to win the Super Bowl fell significantly. But officials ruled Smith down at the 1-yard line. Dallas went from a 1.5-point home underdog to New Orleans in May to a 7-point home ‘dog to the Saints in September. The Cowboys (5-1, 4-2 ATS) dominated with 23 first downs to Seattle’s nine. It looked over when Jets quarterback Geno Smith was sacked in the end zone for what could have been called a safety that would have made the final margin 9, a hair short of covering the 9.5-point spread

Betting on Candidates the Way You’d Bet on a Horse | Howard Fineman

I reported it — quickly and, I confess sloppily. People who come here bet on candidates the way they bet on horses. I blame my flub on two mint juleps.

LOUISVILLE — If you are here on Derby Weekend, it’s easy to lapse into thinking that Louisville is the center of the world, or at least America.

As a contrast, perhaps, to the day’s activities here, President Obama will be headlining his first two official campaign rallies, in Columbus, Ohio and Richmond, Virginia.

I could see why he’d still be tempted by some private events. The crowds here don’t “look like America” as our increasingly diverse country is defined. I evidently was wrong. They study the field, the track, the weather and the record.

On the Democratic side, there is a younger generation of pols mingling with a new generation of donors. This is a whiter, older, more Anglo and more Southern scene than the new normal — though it was notable that, for the first time, a female jockey won the Oaks race for fillies.. Six-term GOP Senator Richard Lugar, a former pillar of what formerly was a GOP establishment, is badly trailing his tea partyish rival, Richard Mourdock, for the party nomination.

It’s neither. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was here too, to talk up a horse race in L.A., he said.

The rumor on the Sky Terrace yesterday was that Mitt Romney was going to come to town today.

Still, the Derby at its upper reaches is a magnet for politicians, not so much for the old reason — publicity — as for the proximity of money. Mitt’s also busy with family matters: his son Tagg’s wife just gave birth to twins. The former include Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley, who is widely regarded as a man interested in running for president in 2016, as is Virginia Senator Mark Warner, who considered running but didn’t in 2008. There are dinners and other to-dos around town where politicians — the Dems and the GOPs both — would very much want to have a chance to meet with would-be bettor/donors.

The big political news this morning comes from across the Ohio River in Indiana. He has “no public events” today, according to his campaign

Apple Pay bets big on digital wallets

Apple Pay is designed to let iPhone 6 owners use their smartphones to pay for purchases at brick-and-mortar stores as well as online via apps. Apple said department stores like Macy’s and Bloomingdales, drugstores including Walgreen’s and Duane Reade, and other stores including McDonald’s, Staples, Subway and Whole Foods are participating in Apple Pay.

“It’s not that different than what other mobile wallets have done,” he said. And it puts Apple in direct competition with services like PayPal and Google Wallet.

© 2014 The Associated Press. Citi Investment Research analyst Mark May said they could grow from $1 billion in 2013 to $58.4 billion by 2017. 9, 2014

“Apple Pay will forever change the way we pay for things,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Citi analyst May said eBay Inc.’s PayPal is the closest competitor to Apple Pay, but PayPal shouldn’t be overly concerned since near-field communication and digital wallet payments are less than 1 percent of its business. But Apple Pay adds some security features and makes a digital wallet option more accessible for iPhone users. All Rights Reserved. About 15 percent of smartphones are iPhones, according to research firm IDC.

. Still, consumers will have to weigh the convenience of not pulling out a card with the possible danger of storing important financial information on their phones, particularly as retailers like Target and Home Depot report data breaches, and hackers crack celebrities’ iCloud accounts.

Contactless payment isn’t new: Retailers like Starbucks and McDonald’s already have their own contactless payment system in stores, and Apple Pay is similar to Google Inc.’s Google Wallet, which is available on Android smartphones and iPhones. The Find My iPhone service can erase the data if the phone gets lost or stolen – canceling a card will not be necessary. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.

Gartner analyst Avivah Litah said the payment system will only succeed if major retailers get behind it. Apple’s security features are a plus for merchants, but it’s not clear if that will be enough.

Apple is betting that people want to pay with a tap of the phone rather than a swipe of the card.

In stores, the system uses a technology called near-field communication, which allows mobile phones to communicate with other devices at close range. In addition, consumer adoption of Apple Pay remains uncertain.

For its part, PayPal’s chief product officer, Hill Ferguson, emphasized PayPal’s relationships with merchants and customer service, and the fact that it can work across devices.

“We know mobile is becoming the front door to Target, and we’re focused on creating the best possible mobile experiences for our guests,” Senior Vice President Jason Goldberger said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to support Apple Pay to streamline how our guests pay in the Target app – this absolutely makes purchasing from Target’s mobile app easier than ever.”

IDC analyst James Wester said the move is in some ways Apple playing catch up to Google Wallet, but that the system uses Apple’s fingerprint technology is a plus.

CNET has complete coverage of the iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch.

So-called mobile proximity payments are expected to grow exponentially over the next few years. Wal-Mart said it has no plans to participate. Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet software and services, said credit card information will be stored on the phone via a secure chip and payments will use a one-time security code. Amazon.com did not respond to a request for comment. The service will be able to store Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit card information.

“A cashier doesn’t see your name, credit card number or security code,” when you pay with Apple Pay, Cue said. “That transaction is between you, your merchant and your bank.”

Apple addressed security concerns Tuesday, saying Apple Pay is even safer than using a plastic card. We’ve been waiting for them to get into this.”

“Apple doesn’t know what you bought, where you bought it or how much you paid,” he said. Many Android phones already have a near-field communication antenna, but iPhones have not until now. He also said Apple won’t track people’s financial data.

But some of the largest retailers are not participating. And Target said it is currently participating only via its app.

“That said, Apple has raised the bar for the digital wallet category, not only for offline point-of-sale but potentially also for m-commerce, which is more directly competitive with PayPal today,” he said.

The announcement came as Apple introduced several new products including a new, larger iPhone 6 and a wearable smartwatch, called Apple Watch. “The important part is that it’s Apple. The company says it’s easier and more secure than using a credit or debit card.

“It’s 50-50 if merchants will get on board,” she said. “The security aspects are attractive, but it’s not clear if the security features alone are going to be enough of a selling point.”

The service will be available beginning in October. Retailers will need to invest in updating their cash registers and point-of-sale units. It’s also set to work with the Apple Watch when that debuts in 2015.

“Businesses and consumers don’t want to be restricted to a particular device or hardware,” he said.

The technology company on Tuesday introduced a new digital wallet service called Apple Pay that is integrated with its Passbook credential-storage app and its fingerprint ID security system.

From the NBA draft to why children should not eat French fries for breakfast, the two host debate the rules to live by in their first book.

GREENY: Ten years, and during those ten years you’ve been constantly interrupting me, day in and day out. Just tell everyone about the 2002 All-Star Game and how you came up with the dumbest rule in sports.

GOLIC: I’m talking about baseball, helping you out.

GREENY: It’s a great rule, Mike.

But what else could they do? The fans were frustrated–the crowd at the game began chanting “Let them play” just like the fans did in the Houston Astrodome in the second Bad News Bears movie. . What is wrong with you?

GOLIC: Here’s how it happened: It was the day after the 2002 All-Star Game, the one that was called after 11 innings because both teams ran out of players–no winner, no loser, nothing. . . Go ahead.

GREENY: I’m disappointed to hear you say that, because I completely agree with you. . Play ball! . The way it ended sure was bad news, but what other options were there?
